Specialty: I use red earthenware, thrown on the potters wheel to create functional forms. I address the surfaces with pinching, carving and slip and fire to cone 6 in oxidation. I am drawn to the combination of tightly-thrown forms and loose traces of my hand. I aim to bring a personal touch to functional ceramic art.
