Altapass Orchard : Organization

The Historic Orchard at Altapass is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation of Appalachian Heritage. Located on a hundred year old apple orchard on the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Over the Mountain Trail, Altapass Orhard features mountain music, historical plays, storytelling hayrides, craft demonstrations, butterfly and herb & wetlands gardens, monarch raising, amazing views and wonderful old apple trees May-Oct.
