Sharon Tesche’s decorative designs translate the grace of ancient architecture into contemporary ceramic sculpture and wall pieces. The sculptural pieces are stained with oxides before firing and glazed or left unglazed to showcase the beauty of native red clays. The large wall plates are fired multiple times using oxides and earth-tone underglazes. They may be displayed singly or in multiples, vertically or horizontally. All work is handbuilt using slabs.
